Andrea Ostergaard
Partnerships and Event Director
Andrea leads overall planning and implementation of the annual Mpact Transit + Community conference
As Partnerships and Event Director, Andrea Ostergaard supports the 50-person National Steering Committee in organizing 75+ sessions and every other aspect of the annual Mpact Transit + Community conference. She supports coalition building in local communities through her interaction with each year’s conference Local Host Committee. Working with the Local Host team and Mpact Innovators, she manages a collaborative, volunteer-driven planning process that delivers 25+ mobile workshops and tours, fundraising and networking events. Andrea is a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) and Sustainable Events Planner (SEPC) through the Events Industry Council.
Prior to working at Mpact, Andrea worked as a Branch Coordinator at the YMCA of the North in Minneapolis. She holds a BS in Urban and Regional Studies and Nonprofit Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato, MN. Andrea enjoys spending time with her two young children, volunteering in the community, and experimenting in the kitchen – currently mastering homemade pasta!

Trinity Ek directs the Mpact Innovators, supports Mpact Transit + Community, Mpact:LAB, and Mpact:VOICES and manages Mpact's social media.
