Plenary Discussion: Climate Action
All the best practices, plans, and processes discussed throughout this Mpact Transit + Community conference contribute to achieving climate action goals – local, regional, national, and global. To achieve these goals requires a multi-scale, coordinated approach that centers equity and integrates climate action into community and economic development, infrastructure investments and land use regulations. The closing plenary dives into the details of this approach: where it’s working well; how local, regional, state, and federal agencies are taking action; and what we can expect and do next.
