Many transit agencies nationwide are still confronting a post-COVID decline in ridership. Meanwhile, many riders are experiencing unprecedented issues of safety and security onboard transit vehicles. How do we maintain service quality for our current ridership, assist those in need and attract new riders? Maximizing police and security forces isn’t enough.
