Timothy Thornton

My background includes over two decades of experience as an advisor to public- and private-sector clients on the topics of infrastructure funding and real estate finance. My areas of expertise include real estate financial and market feasibility, real estate value capture opportunities, transit-oriented development (TOD) and transportation financial analysis. Over the course of my career, I have worked with public sector clients ranging from local governments; housing authorities; state and local transportation agencies; federal development authorities; and private sector clients including developers, financial institutions and non-developer landowners. Prior to joining HDR, I worked for another international engineering firm, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Bay Area Economics, and RCLCO Real Estate Advisors.
