Tanya Brooks

Tanya Brooks is a transportation official with over 24 years of experience focusing on the development of transportation projects and initiatives that provide safe, accessible, and connected infrastructure to meet community needs and to enhance quality of life for residents. Led the City of Dallas’ Complete Streets Initiative and the adoption of a policy that shifted the dynamic of planning and building projects to accommodate vehicular traffic only to incorporating all modes of transportation into projects, including automobiles, bicycle lanes, sidewalks and ADA compliant ramps, as well as transit lanes.
