Matthew Zapson

Matthew Zapson, AICP, is a Manager of Planning Programs at the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA). In his five years at SEPTA, Matt has worked closely with internal stakeholders and community partners to make bus transportation faster, more reliable, safer, and more accessible for the region’s riders and operators while improving roadway safety, especially for bicyclists and pedestrians. Matt holds a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, a BA in Architectural Studies from Boston University, and is a certified city planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners.
