Matthew Pearce

Matt is a principal structural engineer and Building Structures discipline lead at Mott MacDonald with 16 years’ experience in the building industry. Matt has international experience on metro projects, having worked on Crossrail and Northern Line extension in the UK, Dublin Metro in Ireland, BART Phase II in California and Broadway Subway in Vancouver, Canada. Matt is currently leading the engineering design of the transit-oriented communities for the Ontario Line in Toronto, Canada and is peer reviewer for the TOCs on the Scarborough Line in Toronto. He is committed to advancing team collaboration and digital design technology on Transit Oriented Development projects in order to drive efficient, adaptable and sustainable designs
