John Potter

John has been a practicing architect for over 25 years designing and delivering projects across Canada. He joined Metrolinx in 2015 in order to focus his efforts on the design and construction of the largest transit expansion program in North America. John is Chair of the Metrolinx Design Review Panel and is and is one of the leaders Metrolinx’s Design Excellence Division. He led the development of architecture, landscape and urban design guidelines for the Regional Express Rail program. He is also the public face of Design Excellence meeting with municipal and community stakeholders. He has extensive experience presenting Metrolinx projects to various audiences as well as participating in panel discussions. In 2017 he was both the Chair and a key presenter at the PPP (P3) for Major Infrastructure Conference in Sydney Australia.
